Our Gratitude & Appreciation for Bishop Jenry’s Spiritual Leadership!

During our 2024 Mission trip, most of us had the pleasure of meeting & interacting with Bishop Jenry Orlando Ruiz Mora as he traveled up the mountain alongside STAOP’s very own Father Jesse to the village of La Colonia for a special mass & baptism.

This was such a momentous occasion; the very first time that a Bishop of Honduras visited the villages we serve!

Bishop Jenry also traveled to Houston, Texas / The Woodlands in 2024 plus earlier this year in March to meet our parish, celebrate mass & enjoy dinner with our Honduran Core Team members.

For 2025, Bishop Jenry will return to the mountain during our mission week to preside over mass in both La Esperancita & once again in La Colonia.

We are beyond thrilled of our continued partnership with Father Zacarias & the Diocese of Trujillo. Over & above that, to be able to include Bishop Jenry now as an esteemed mission partner far exceeds what we could have ever dreamed! Bishop Jenry’s spiritual & practical guidance to our mission, assisting with our development & growth, will take our small mission to the next level as we aspire to transform these individuals & their communities, bringing about a kingdom of God on earth.

It’s time for you to get-to-know Bishop Jenry!
