It’s our favorite time of year once again! Cooking tasty tacos & bringing smiles! It’s the perfect way to fundraise for our mission & the communities that we serve while enjoying each other’s company!
Invite all to stop by after Mass at Sheltz Hall, except for the 6:00 PM Mass.
I am sure you can find us, just bring your appetite & we will do the rest! As the event draws near, we will share additional details.

JAN 2026: Missionary Kick-Off Meeting
We are headed back to Honduras!
Hallelujah! Come join us on Tuesday 01/13/26 @ 6:30 PM in PLB 205/207 as we discuss detailed plans regarding travel to Honduras in June of 2026.
People are suffering from both isolation & physical poverty; the world needs missionaries & our Honduran communities look forward to seeing us every year!
Just remember that the most important mission is joyfully accepting God’s will, wherever it may lead us.
2025 World Mission Sunday
WORLD MISSION SUNDAY, OCTOBER 19th
EVERY YEAR, SOMETHING SPECIAL HAPPENS ON THE NEXT-TO-LAST SUNDAY IN OCTOBER.
WORLD MISSION SUNDAY joins all Catholics of the world into one community of faith. At Mass that Sunday, we recommit ourselves to our common vocation, through Baptism to be missionaries, through prayer, participation in the Eucharist, & by giving generously to the collection for the Society for the Propagation of the Faith.
As the Church prepares to celebrate World Mission Sunday in 2025, the late Pope Francis has given us a powerful theme that resonates deeply in this Jubilee Year: “Missionaries of Hope Among All Peoples.” In his message, the late Holy Father reminds us that hope is at the heart of the Christian mission, calling every baptized person to be “messengers & builders of hope” in a world that often finds itself overshadowed by uncertainty & despair.
““Even today, there are many settings in which the Christian faith is considered absurd, meant for the weak & unintelligent. Settings where other securities are preferred, like technology, money, success, power, or pleasure.””
Please join us on this special day by wearing your blue Mission shirts to the 11 AM Mass & sharing your testimony with our parish!
After mass, there will be a special gathering at Sheltz Hall with other mission groups from our diocese. We invite you to discover how missionaries are making a difference in our community & beyond!
2026 Honduras Mission Early Application Submission
THE 2026 MISSION APPLICATION PROCESS WILL OPEN:
AUGUST 12th - JANUARY 1st
The earlier commitment window allows missionaries to have more time to fundraise--including the holiday season--because a mission donation makes an excellent Christmas gift to you from your family & friends!
Prayerfully consider joining the team for a Catechetical, Medical & Dental mission to the mountains of Honduras. The 2026 Mission Application will open on 08/12/25 & close on 01/01/26, with a potential extension if not all spots are filled.
Planning for this year has been shifted forward by a few months to allow missionaries more time to achieve their fundraising goal. As soon as your application is approved, we will build a personal fundraising page for you to share with family & friends or post on social media.
No hablas español? No problemo! We need all kinds of missionaries – anyone who wants to work hard & share their talents in helping others. Travel to La Colonia, Honduras is scheduled for June 6, 2026 to June 13, 2026.
We are asking missionaries to complete their online application with a $200 commitment in order to move forward with operations & logistics planning. NOTE: For 2026, space may be limited to 60 travelers.

2025 Mission Reunion Celebration

Let’s reunite for some fun after our triumphant 2025 Mission trip!
The event will be held at St. Teresa Center - Room 120.
We will update everyone & send details as the event draws near. Join us for the 5PM Vigil Mass then dinner immediately following at St. Teresa Center. The Knights of Columbus will be providing the BBQ. Just a night of celebration & fun as we reflect on our 2025 mission. Bring your loved ones too!

2025 Mission Blessing Mass
Calling all Missionaries to join us before we depart to Honduras for a Special Mass at St Anthony of Padua. Our parish will send us off through the power of prayer!
Heavenly Father, we are so excited and honored you have allowed each one of us to be a part of this mission trip. We ask for Your hedge of protection to be over us, around us and in us. We ask that every place we go Your protection will be with us. Amen.

2025 January: St Anthony of Padua Fellowship Sunday
Our Honduras Mission is hosting the January 12th parish-wide Fellowship Sunday.
Many hands are needed to make coffee and serve donuts to our fellow parishioners. We need your help!
If you have ever been on a mission in the past, consider sharing your testimony after Mass with those who may be discerning travel next year.
