A Glorious Celebration at St. Anthony’s
During the last weekend of August in 2021, our parish came together after each mass to salute as well as discover more about St. Anthony’s Outreach Programs. It was not only an excellent opportunity to say farewell to Father Tom but also to visit some of the newly remodeled areas on our campus. Mission 20:21 came to a close as we welcomed back parents & students to the new school year.
The gym was packed full of our fellow ministries with the Honduran Mission standing front & center to welcome parishioners who came through the doors. Select missionaries were in attendance sharing mission goals, demoing water filters, highlighting our high school students who we support year-round, accepting donations, asking for support & ultimately revealing our travel plans for June of 2022.
It was indeed a special weekend for everyone to honor Father Tom & the outstanding work of St. Anthony’s ministries, for kids to play & have fun plus for parents to visit with each other while sampling goodies from the food trucks.
Our Honduras Mission had so many folks interested in learning more about what we do & expressing their willingness to join us on our next mission trip!
